Joseph A. Annello Jr.

US Army Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Joseph A. Annello, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Annello, age 81, of Rensselaer passed away on Thursday July 13, 2017.

Mr. Annello served in the United States Army from September of 1957 to June of 1960. His MOS was 058.10 Morse (Code) Intercept Operator. He spent 2 years on overseas assignments and was Honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 4th Class (T).

After his discharge, Joe was employed by the NYS Education Department for 31 years before retiring in 1991. Joe worked as a Budgeting Analyst. He was a member of the Italian American Club where he served as President for 5 terms. He joined in 1976 and is a current member. He was also a member of the West Albany Italian Benevolent Society, Albany Lodge of Elks BPOE #49, Albany Pop Warner, where he served as a vice president working under Vince Foley for over 10 years, and Whitehall Little League.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to be able to stand for and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Mr. Joseph A. Annello Jr.
