Honor Mission

John DeRusso

US Army Veteran

The family of Mr. John DeRusso has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services.

Jack was born on May 4, 1942 in Albany and served in the US Army from 1959 to 1962. He spent 2 years and seven months on overseas assignments and was Honorably discharged at the rank of Private First Class. He later worked for the Local 190 in Albany for many years and then went on to work at College of Nano Science and Engineering as the clean room supervisor for ten years before retiring. He was an avid NY Yankee fan and enjoyed traveling to Florida and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Mechanicville Elks, Joseph E. Zaloga Post American Legion - where he was a Legion Rider, he was a Patriot Guard Riders member and member of the Moose Lodge in Sebring, FL.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to be able to stand for the life and service of Mr. John DeRusso, US Army veteran.
