Honor Mission

Richard J. Requa, Veteran

USA EMS/EMT, Fire - Vietnam War

Saratoga Springs, New York - 14 Jul 2017


The family of Richard J. Requa has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in his military Honors funeral.
Rick begin a life of dedication and service to his country and local community. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged with the rank of SP5. He then went to work for Encon and became a New York State Forest ranger for 28 years. He continued his Public Service as an employee of the town of Milton as a volunteer fireman and an EMT at the Saratoga flat track. He was also an avid Outdoors-man and held the black belt in karate. He was also a dedicated member of the VFW and American Legion.
