Honor Mission

Jack L. Oblein, Veteran

Elmira, New York - 05 Jul 2017

Another one of our "Greatest Generation" veterans has passed on. Jack's daughter has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in the military honors interment for her father - Jack L. Oblein.
Jack Oblein answered the call and honorably served his Country as a T-Fourth Grade with the 81st Ordnance Tank Maintenance Company during World War II. T-4 Oblein was honorably discharged on 2 December 1946. Awards included the Army of Occupation Medal.

The Patriot Guard Riders will consider it an honor and privilege to stand the Flag Line for this WWII hero - to render Dignity, Honor and Respect for the life and service of Jack L. Oblein.
Rest in Peace soldier - Duty done.
