As we are approaching the holiday season, it's an excellent time to remember our fallen and their ultimate sacrafice; another way to remember them is to sponsor a wreath.  Sponsoring a wreath through Wreaths Across America is easy.  Whether at Saratoga National Cemetery or another cemetery where you wish to have a wreath placed. Just click on the image to enter Wreaths Across America.  Simply click on the DONATE at the bottom of their page.  Thank you.

The Patriot Guard Riders of Eastern New York have once again been granted Group Sponsorship status within the Wreaths Across America organization. So what does our Group Sponsorship status mean? Well for every two wreaths that are ordered - using our group code – Wreaths Across America will donate another wreath - we get 3 for 2.

To sponsor a wreath at Saratoga National Cemetery click HERE.

If you would rather mail in an order, click ORDER FORM.

Thank you.

Honor Mission

Maurice W. Goyette, Veteran

MULTI-CITY, New York - 24 Mar 2017

The family of Mr. Maurice W. Goyette, a “Greatest Generation” hero, has requested Patriot Guard Rider presence at his military honors funeral services.

Mr. Maurice W. Goyette passed on Wednesday March 15, 2017. Maurice attended Scotia-Glenville High School, graduating in 1942. After graduation, he served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Forces from 1942-1945. He was assigned to the 9th Air Force, 391st Bomb Group, and worked as an aircraft mechanic and gunner on the legendary Martin B-26 Marauder aircraft. Maurice was Honorably discharged in 1945 at the rank of Technical Sergeant.

Some PGR members may remember meeting Mr. Goyette last May as we were honored to escort him and his son from the Rotterdam PD to the Leatherstocking Honor Flight sendoff. The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to stand and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Mr. Maurice W. Goyette.
