ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Mission is to escort two otherwise unaccompanied American heroes from Glendale, Queens to their final resting places of honor at Calverton National Cemetery.

Anthony Maranowski was born on April 3, 1942. He served in the US Navy from May 21, 1959 to July 28, 1959. He died on October 11, 2016

James Vernil was born on May 29, 1949. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era from August 8, 1967 to July 29, 1970. He died on December 14, 2016

Special Instructions:
The Queens County Committee of the American Legion will preside over a short funeral service at the Funeral Home at09:30.
We will depart Glendale at approximately10:00hours.
We will stop at the new Rest Area at Exit 52 of the Eastbound LIE, hopefully around10:30, to pick up any Patriot Guard Riders wishing to join the procession to Calverton.
Final Honors will be rendered at Calverton National Cemetery after the procession arrives, hopefully no later than11:15hours.
