The family of Albert J. Maynard Sr., USMC, Korean War veteran has requested Patriot Guard Rider presence at his funeral and interment services.

Albert Maynard, Sr., 83, passed February 4, 2017 at home after a brief illness. He was born in Albany, NY where he resided for over 37 years before moving to Berne, NY. He was a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.

Mr. Maynard enjoyed flying, and held a commercial pilot's license, carrying many children on scenic flights sponsored by independent companies. Mr. Maynard was employed with the City of Albany Police Department as a detective, before becoming employed with the Albany County Social Services as an Inspector in the Legal Unit for the Commissioner's Office, and later the fraud unit.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to be able to stand for the life and service of Mr. Albert J. Maynard Sr.
