David L. Buell Sr., Veteran

The family of David L. Buell Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services.

Narrative: Dave was born in Hallstead, PA, and moved with his family to Upstate New York. He graduated from St. Anne’s Academy one year early as Salutatorian of the class. His six year term of service in the US Army included one year in Korea. Dave was a jack of all trades, spending time in multiple fields of work, including postal worker, carpenter, fireman, and auto mechanic. He was the Principal of Liberty Christian Academy and finally, the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds for Wynantskill Union Free School District, retiring after 20 years of service. The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to be able to render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of David L. Buell Sr.

PGR participation at the church is limited to 4 pre-selected members only. All other members please stage directly at the cemetery.
