About the Mission:
Thomas graduated from Shaker High School in 1960, having played varsity baseball, football, and basketball. Tom also played Minor League baseball for both the Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers prior to his service in the military.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam between 1964 to1966 as a PFC-3, and received the Vietnam Service Medal upon his discharge. He was also a member of the Hudson Falls American Legion Post 574.

Upon returning home, Tom served for 23 years with the New York State Troopers, and the last 11 years as an investigator with the BCI out of Troop G in South Glens Falls. He continued to work as an insurance investigator for Seidel Claims Services as well as for New York State as an investigator at both the Saratoga Raceway and the Saratoga Thoroughbred Race Track.

The Patriot Guard Riders will be there to render Honor, Dignity, and Respect for the life and service of another great American soldier.
