The family of Mr. Frank P. Dobek has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services.

After a brief service at the funeral home, members will escort to:

Blessed Sacrament Church
607 Central Ave.
Albany, NY

Funeral Mass is scheduled to begin at 09:00 AM.  Following the church services, members will escort to the cemetery for interment with full military honors:

Our Lady of Angels Cemetery
1389 Central Ave.
(Next to Colonie Center)
Colonie, NY

Narrative:
Mr. Dobek attended Albany High School and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, where he excelled at baseball and basketball.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army as a Light Weapons Infantryman, attaining the rank of Specialist 3rd Class (E4). He served 16 months in Germany, and was discharged in November of 1955. For his service, he was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal – Germany, the US Army Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

The Patriot Guard Riders will stand and display dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Mr. Frank P. Dobek.
