Our family would like to thank everyone who supported Robert and his family tonight to celebrate his return "home". Even with the arrival delay it did not diminish any one's enthusiasm. The past year has been long with many days and nights not knowing where he was, what he was doing, and above all if he was safe. Your show of support tonight has shown us that there are those who really do care, those who support our service men and women,
and those who understand how difficult it is to send a family member off to war. Robert noted in his remarks to everyone that there are families who will never be able to welcome their loved ones home as you did for us tonight and we must never forget that they made the ultimate sacrifice. It has been said many times, but it never gets old, we must always remember that Freedom is not Free. There is a price to be paid. Tonight as we spend the night as a complete family for the first time in a very long time, there are no words to truly express how our family felt as you supported us, taking time away from your family and busy lives to be there for us. We are forever grateful. Thank You.
