I can't thank you enough for organizing the riders for my son's viewing and memorial service. I was only able to visit with them for a few minutes but was so impressed with their dedication to honor someone they didn't even know. I know I speak for my family and the entire community of Hancock in thanking each one of them for taking time out of their own lives to stand in the cold with such respect and reverance.

It has been such a comfort to read all the letters and messeges from so many people from all across the country. We know we are not alone. Thanks again and God bless you all.

With High Regard,

On the 20th of December, 2007 my family and I were pleased and blessed to be able to welcome home our son, Captain Nicholas Auletta ( U.S. Army) from his second tour in Iraq. My brother, Rich, a Patriot Guard Rider, contacted a "few" of his fellow Riders to give my son a Patriot Guard welcome home. What happened after that is truly amazing and heart warming. Your leadership, specifically NJ Hawk (State Captain) and LTC Lee Anderson (Ride Captain NY) were able to organize what turned out to be the most special day a returning soldier could ever hope for. We had a New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police escort to the JFK Air Terminal, we were escorted to the main gate to see him as he came off the plane, and we were then greeted by a group of thirty or more Patriot Guard Riders with their flags standing tall. My son was then asked to sign a Welcome Home Banner from your National Patriot Guard. He was certainly overwhelmed and thankful. Our whole family has been speaking of this night since it happened. Not only were we so happy to have our son home, but we were honored to be associated with your group. We could never thank you enough for such an experience that will stay with our family for a lifetime. God Bless America     Go Army

Regards,

Bob

“Welcome Home Sgt. Mark Wido”

I just wanted to say thank you for the support of the Patriot Guard Riders who showed up at the Rochester Airport to welcome home my nephew Sgt. Mark Wido on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007.  There are so many other things that your volunteers could be doing at this time of the year, yet they chose to be at the airport.  I have been spreading the word about the Patriot Guard Riders and all the good that you do.  I hope that you and all the volunteers of PGR be blessed with health, happiness and love this holiday season.

Thank you so much,
Celeste W. S.

We’re extremely sorry we’re late with our “thank you” to all of you.  The family of Charles R. Striker would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Syracuse, NY area Patriot Guard Riders who came to us in our time of need.  These men stood in the freezing cold wind and rain and never complained.  They led us from the funeral home to the cemetery, endured more bad weather, and were gracious in rendering honors to our brother.  The service and flag presentation was beautiful.

Thank you all for being there for us, for Chuck, and for your service to our country.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you and god bless.
